After working like crazy for about a week, I'm ready to unveil the newest part of Spreading Light Ministries. It is Online Bible Devotions. There is a daily devotion that you can read as well as catch up on any previous ones you may have missed.
In addition to having daily devotions, webmasters can add Bible verses, Proverbs, or Bible Games to their site. So go ahead and check it out and bookmark the devotions section so you can return each and every day.

Big addition soon
One small bit of news and some big news. By popular demand I've added more word searches to the Bible games, specifically kings and prophets. I'll continue to add more games as I have time and list the updates here.
The big news is that I will be launching a new site as part of Spreading Light Ministries shortly, Lord willing next week. It will be an online devotions site. In addition there will be some add-ons that webmasters can install on their site including a verse of the minute, Proverb of the moment, and random Bible game link. There could be some further additions down the road but those sections will launch with the site at least.
I'm very excited about this but it is a lot of work - more web programming than I've done in a long time. And I'm writing the devotions as I go along, so it'll be a lot of writing for at least the next year. After that I don't know if I'll just keep them rotating or if I'll add new ones. I suppose it depends on where the site is in a year's time.
So anyway, be on the lookout. I'll be posting the link soon, adding it here as well as directly onto the site. I hope you'll all check it out then.

New blog
There was a lot of inactivity on my old blog which was obviously my fault. I hope this new one will be a bit more up to date than before and I can concentrate all of my blogs in one place now.
Basically I was paying for a premium package on Xanga and for all the more I used it I couldn't justify the price. So hopefully this will do the trick and provide the same quality without the ads that I didn't want polluting the website.
Of course there remain some ads, but I have some control over them and all proceeds goes to the ministry instead of a big company.
I hope to have more updates coming in the future. For now, the only addition I have to mention isn't so much an addition to the site as something I mentioned on the site. Because of the popularity of the Christian games I began collecting non-Christian but still family friendly games. If you're interested you can check out the new site at http://www.lazygamerblog.com
